I just purchased a service of Castleton china at a local estate here in Central Virginia.  The pattern is CAPRICE, introduced in 1945 and discontinued in 1972.  It features white ground with grey floral rim, accented with turquoise and gold trim.  This auction if for a 5 piece place setting, including: one dinner plate (10 3/4″), one salad plate (8 3/8″), one bread or dessert plate (6 1/4″), one saucer ( 6″) and a footed  cup (2 1/4″).  The auction is for one place setting, but I do have four (4) available and you can purchase as many as you might need in this Dutch Auction.  All of the pieces are in good condition without chips, but some have light utensil marks. They are back stamped as pictured.
